Conficker Day Of Reckoning Finally Upon Us

With the Conficker Worm Trojan Virus activation date finally here we have finally gotten a chance to see what it will do. Despite being dormant with a set activation date of April 1, 2009 we have not see any activity. This is most likely due to the fact that the worm creators have chosen not to act with all of the publicity surrounding the virus. The Conficker virus was created, unlike other viruses, without specific directions and with the ability to accept commands from its creators.

Despite a lack of activity the Conficker could be very dangerous and it would be in everyone’s best interest to go ahead and make sure they don’t have the virus and if they do get it removed.

The most dangerous thing about the Conficker worm is that nobody knows exactly what its capabilities are or how damaging it could be.
